Titan is a supervillain with the ability to encase his skin with granite. He used his abilities to work his way up the criminal ladder, eventually overthrowing his boss, Machine Head. He is a minor antagonist in Invincible.

History[]

Background Information[]

Aside from his extensive criminal record, little is known about Titan or how he gained his powers. At some point, the ambitious young street criminal caught the attention of the gang lord Machine Head, who made Titan a member of his crew.

For years, Titan performed Machine Head's dirty work, earning the gangster's trust while plotting his demise. Titan eventually lured Machine Head into a city park and sprung his trap, beating him severely. Titan would've killed him if not for the timely intervention of a band of professional heroes from Capes Inc, forcing him to flee the scene.

Family Matters[]

Titan performs a heist with a couple thieves, the mission would not go as plan as the cops arrive at the scene quickly, causing them to flee. As he argues with the thieves as to the failed heist, he gets ambushed by Mark Grayson, who had recently gotten his powers. Titan fights the young hero, questioning if he's being stopped or robbed eventually having part of his granite skin crumble, knocking him unconscious in the middle of an alleyway.

  • Unique Physiology: Titan can encase his body in rock.
    • Superhuman Endurance: His unique constitution allows him to surpass the endurance limits of a human being.
    • Superhuman Speed: Despite his rocky exterior, he hasn't slowed down at all in speed and is able to move at great speeds during a fight.
    • Superhuman Strength: Titan has superhuman strength enough to break concrete and face similar empowered beings with ease. His strength also extends to his lower legs allowing him to jump up to 10 feet.
    • Superhuman Dense Tissue: His powerful shell of rock allows him immunity to small gunfire, higher temperature and pressure.

  • Leadership: He possess above average control of organized crime, with enough skill to both not run it into the ground and to hide it effectively.
  • Hand-to-Hand Combat: As a fighter, he posses moderate skill in hand to hand combat.

Weaknesses[]

  • Arrogance: He is also very greedy, arrogant and overconfident leading to his defeat due to his inability to learn from his losses or learn from his mistakes.
