History[]
Origin[]
Terra Grayson was born to Samantha Eve Wilkins, a human with transmutation powers, and Mark Grayson, a Human/Viltrumite hybrid
Time on Earth[]
Terra was given birth to by Eve after her emergency surgery after having her leg dismembered. Mark holds her after she was delivered and cries after seeing her for the first time. She is then given to Eve to look on as they say "her life will be screwed up." Mark gives Terra to Eve and when she tries to reconcile with him after her earlier outburst he pulls away telling her to get to know her daughter noticing Mark is acting off, not knowing what Anissa had done to him, when Mark regains his composure he returns to Eve and Terra saying he will never leave them again, to which Eve scoffs and proudly sends Mark on his way with a new suit clean of blood. After her recovery, they go back to Eve's house with Terra. She would breastfeed Terra while they had dinner, much to her grandfather's disgust. She would put Terra to bed while they attend the funerals of Black Samson, Knockout & Kid Thor, and Cecil Stedman. Terra wakes up crying after Eve attempts to sleep with Mark. Eve would go see Immortal and Kate in their mountain hideout. She would play and leave after her parents refused to help Kate and Immortal against Robot. While she sleeps in the spaceship, Eve and Mark decide on their name, Terra, as Eve calls her "their own little piece of Earth"
Arrival to Talescria[]
Mark and Eve arrive to Talescria after their long trip. They are greeted by Allen in which he gets a closer look at Terra. Terra punches his eye, much to his surprise. Eve changes her diaper and the trio go to sleep on the couch. Eve puts Terra in her crib and attempts to have sex with Mark, much to his shock. Eve breastfeeds Terra while Mark is using the bathroom. Afterwards, she would put Terra back to in her crib. After an emotional revelation from Mark about Anissa, Eve goes to check on Terra, who was not breathing.
Post Reboot[]
Mark had left to stop Thragg one day but he mysteriously disappeared for several years after going to the planet his foes was reported to be on. Following Mark's return, he had thought he was only gone a few weeks but he found 5 years had passed as Terra was now a young child of 6 years old, as opposed to an infant when he had left.
Powers and abilities[]
Human/Viltrumite Physiology: Terra is a Human/Viltrumite hybrid and this gives her access to Viltrumite powers. Because humans are biologically similar to Viltrumites, this gives her the potential to become as strong as any pure-blooded Viltrumite. As Terra pushes herself, she can become faster, stronger, and more durable than she was before. Because of her Viltrumite heritage, Terra has the following Abilities:[]
- Superhuman Strength: has strength far beyond normal levels of most sentient life in the galaxy.
- Superhuman Speed: capable of moving at incredible speeds faster than sound, making her able to break the sound barrier itself, like others of her kind if she really pushes herself she can almost approach the speed of light. (Demonstrated by Mark when he returns from the Alternate timeline)
- Superhuman Stamina: Stamina much greater than normal Humans.
- Superhuman Endurance: Endurance is greatly enhanced beyond human levels.
- Flight: Terra has the ability to fly which adds to her interstellar travel.
- Enhanced Lung Capacity: Due to her enhanced strength Terra has a lung capacity to hold her breath for weeks at a time.[4]
- Invulnerability: She is virtually immune to any/all kind of damage. Only beings of similar strength can actually inflict damage on Terra or even pierce her skin. Due to her being so durable this also allows her to travel in the vacuum of space where she can survive, move, fly and comfortably function without any artificial aid such as a space suit or oxygen (Although Oxygen may be required if she can no longer hold her breath).
- Enhanced Healing Factor: She is immune to all diseases, disorders, imperfections, and can heal and regenerate from any injuries, even those that would normally kill Humans. Depending on how severe her injuries are, some injuries she's sustained can heal from in days or weeks and more severe wounds (such as when her fathers spine was crushed) can take months. Like all Viltrumites she adapts to any bodily harm as she regenerates.
- Decelerated Aging: Terra's aging process is slower than the average Human, as she gets older her aging process slows and will eventually stop aging. Terra can potentially live for thousands of years and will still be in her physical prime [5].
- Dominant Genetics: Terra's human genetics were overridden when she was conceived, making her more pure-blooded Viltrumite than human and although its unknown she may even gain her mothers abilities if said genes adapt to it and possibly making it even stronger in her. [6]
- Atmospheric Adaptability: She is able to live on any terrestrial world as long as it has a gaseous substance she can breath
Strength level[]
Class 100+. As long as Terra pushes herself, she will likely become stronger than she was previously.
Weaknesses[]
- Vulnerable Ears: In order to achieve STABLE flight, a Viltrumite's equilibrium must be balanced. This system is located in their ears and thus anything that disrupts their inner ear function can disrupt this stable flight. This does not include loud sounds, but much rather certain pitch pulses. It can cause Terra's ears to bleed and possibly kill her if prolonged to the pitch for too long. This weakness has only been demonstrated on her father Mark, but it is implied that other Viltrumites share it. [7]
