The Teen Team were a group of teenage superheroes, together they fought crime and global menaces up until the team was disbanded following the creation of the new Guardians of the Globe.
Assembled and led by a mechanical android, Robot, the Teen Team also consisted of Rex Splode, a brash brawler with explosive powers; Dupli-Kate, a self-cloning crime fighter, and Atom Eve, a manipulator of matter. Invincible had also assisted the team on multiple occasions, although he was not an active member. They operated out of a secret base inside a huge bridge pillar, where Robot tirelessly monitored emerging crises and conducted experiments.
History[]
The original members were Atom Eve, Rex Splode, Dupli-Kate, and their leader Robot. While fighting the super-villains known as the Mauler Twins, they met another teenage superhero named Invincible. Although he never joined them, he remained a loyal ally.
The Guardians of the Globe were impressed by Robot's achievements and asked him to join. Robot disbanded the team that he formed, however the Guardians were all murdered before he could accept a position with the group. However, Robot was eventually tasked with building a new roster of heroes, Rex Splode and Dupli-Kate joining Robot in the new Guardians of the Globe. Atom Eve retired from being a superhero to do aid work in Africa.
After Invincible's feud with Cecil Stedman, Robot, Bulletproof, Amanda, and Rex quit from the Guardians and reformed the Teen Team. After the Invincible War, they would return to the Guardians of the Globe.
The Teen Team was successful by super-team standards. Over nearly four years of missions, the Team amassed an impressive record of wins against foes such as the Mauler Twins, Magnamites, The Flaxans, andThe Elephant. The Teen Team were credited with saving the world 1.5 times.
